The Masters

I equate the winner of the Masters to the Super Bowl in the NFL...it's golf's biggest prize...odd that it's at the early part of the season...but it is...

In my life, it has been the Aussie, Greg Norman, that I thought that would win it...he didn't...and this time around there were 3 of that country's blokes in the mix...actually, I figured Jason Day had it done...but he choked it up...paving the way for the drama of what really happened...

Angel Cabrera, the Argentinean, was plodding around the course...and seemed to have lost it when he dumped a shot in to the creek...but found a way to shoot his self back into the mix...with an awesome dart on 18 to force a playoff with...Adam Scott...the Aussie with the sweet swing that has one drawback...his putting is not equal to his other parts...

Sunday it was...as he made two wonderful putts in the last 3 holes he played...one that was the winner in OT...he actually made one biggee on the 72nd hole and prematurely celebrated...

One other thing...the person with the most Masters Crowns?...just might be caddie, Stevie Williams...who was ingloriously fired by his former boss, Tiger Woods...dang,
he must be good at his trade...

I refuse to talk about the Padres today...

Dancing With The Stars...tonight is supposed to be a great one...all the originals...well, most of 'em will be doing their thing...so they say...

Outside of the Worm going to North Korea, the next biggest mistake is the Bieber...this time visiting the Anne Frank Memorial...yes, boy, I am one of the many doubters...what a foo...

 We are totally out of food...and are waiting for some movers...so we do just that...wait...a stop at Starbuck's is in the offing...by the way, I am missing the 90* weather...can we afford another condo?...ha ha...don't tell Marsh...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
