Same Old...

Thing...geez, is that true?...the Padres looked to be a mess...falling miserably to the Mets...11-2...worst beating of any team on opening day...and the ongoing questions are abundant...there was no movement of players...so this team stayed pat...and, even worse...lost 3B Headley for a couple of weeks to a thumb injury...and C Grandal for 50 games for substance abuse...
OK, don't panic...it's but one game...BUT...we have a very fragile spot at C...where Nick Hundley failed so badly last season, he was sent to the minors...had a nice spring...and the catching position is the 2nd most important on the team...and if we have a sub-par performer there we are way behind...this is what I fear...he needs to step up...defensively...and he is not...the runners run wild on him...
OK, day off...let's hope that P Richards has a good outing and we score more than 2 runs...

Marsh is upset that I don't write more about other stuff than sports...she is threatening to stop reading if I don't...what?...talk about pressure...geez, I know some about the sporting events and much less about the other...

DWTS...there are 3 acts that dominate...and I have mentioned them before...in the lead and is the best is the combo of Derek and Kellie...like way better...the FB guy is dang good, but is kind of odd with his personality...and the Disney gal is too young...at the bottom...and way down there is...Cheryl's guy...and Wynonna...and Housewife of BH...who needs to go...

The line for the final 4...Louisville by 10 1/2 over Wichita St....Michigan by 2 over Syracuse...just could be the Big East in the final game...the last year of the league as we know it...kind of fitting?...

On the other side of the division of the MLB west...the Dodgers and the Giants...both look grrrreeeeaaatttt...Kershaw had a dream game, going the distance and also hitting the game winning HR...his first MLB dinger...by the way, LA is our home opener opponent...eegads...with the amount of peops that lurve them around here...it could be embarrassing to the SD guys...

FGCU had a wonderful run in the Big Dance...as you know...and their skipper, Andy Enfield, got a lot of notoriety...and a new job...with the Pac 10...at USC...and now, it's all about the recruiting...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
