Well, I watched it...the NBA All Star Game...and for the greater part of it, the players used it like they would if they were at the YMCA...rat ball at it's whatever...best or worst...more dunks than I can remember...the odd part was...and this was the diff of the 2 teams...that the west had a true PG and the east didn't...so Chris Paul had a field day...not only in winning the game, but garnering the MVP Award...by dribbling around, by, and through the others...some notes...Kobe wanted to show that he is still the best...shutting down Lebron in crunch time...Griffin is a huge unparalleled athlete...Dwight is a fool...he is supposed to have some shoulder prob, but was hucking up hook shots from 1/2 court...the kid, Kyrie Irving, is the next best small going...or coming...why was Bosh an all star?...LA of PDX is not on this level...Lillard should and will be...and...if Michael says it, it still has great meaning...right Kobe?...

Speaking of LA...the Northern Trust LA Open...what?...OMG...came down to 2 newbies in a playoff...as the vets withered in the pressure...Billy Haas more than anyone...kept hitting chunkers with his irons...and lost it...it's so hard to win at that level...and given the chance...they choke up just like us hackers...oh yes, Merrill wins it....or is it Merrick?...see, he's a newbie...I don't know him...but he gets to play at the Masters!...

So sad to watch the demise of anyone...Mindy McCready...country singer that had so much going for her...took her own life yesterday...a couple of weeks ago, her husband did the same...leave 2 kids...she was 37...
