Hoops

I watched a bunch of college hoops games yesterday...from all over the map...some things that come out of my basketball mind...the Dukies are not number 2 in the land...as their highly acclaimed C got completely dominated by the soph C from Maryland...and they lost to the Terps...the Ducks escaped in the Paloose...not because of coaching, but due to a massive brain freeze by a Coug who deliberately fouled cuz he thought they were behind...oops, the game was tied...UO got the throws and won...OSU, yup, that one, is terribly put together and lost to the Dawgs...what are you saving your timeouts for?...UNLV hung on and won at home over the Aztecs...both teams are better than anything in the Pac 12...and yet, are in the middle of the MWC...very strong conf...I saw a stat yesterday that showed that one has the best RPI than any other...selection committee, are you seeing that, too?...

Have to admit it is impossible to get any better weather than in the desert in this time of the year...just absolutely fantastic...80's and very little breeze....and man, there was a boatload of people there...extremely affordable place to live...which got me a thinking, again...what a wonderful get away...maybe, just maybe, another condo in the works?...is it better to just stay in a hotel 5 or 6 times during this time of the year?...one negative...the price of golf...eegads, they want a premium for their green fees...I suppose cuz nobody plays during the heat season...one positive...it's just two hours away...and the drive is a quicky and straight...all freeway...and...the Miramonte?...wonderful place...will go back...

Saw one of the best films I have ever seen...Argo...keeps you on the seat of your...well, you know...and is loosely based on a true story...better than that...mostly correct...ha ha...regardless...Ben Affleck did a splendid job in directing and acting...and the scenery was right on, dude...not filmed in Iran...that's all the hype I can give...if you haven't, you must see it...and, oh by the way...Ben has won all the accolades of every awards show for it...except, he wasn't even nominated in the notorious Academy Awards....what?...another case for that group being way out of touch...they have given some real turrible ones out...who are these goofs that do the voting?...boo...
