Million Reasons

The Pacific Coast Classic was everything that horse racing peops would want...the top three hosses in the mix...and I am telling you...the outstanding jockey, Joel Rosario, who has been trying the east coast tracks...came back and rode the winner...probably outmatched the Baffert/Sutherland combo...thrilling ride...and I hit it...a day of tough races to handicap...Dullahan gets the big bucks...

The Padres swept the DBacks in the desert, and are on a 7 game winning streak...and now host the team that beat 'em up in Atlanta...and we finally have tix for tomorrow eve...I'm sure Marsh isn't too thrilled about it...but we go to the Omni Premier Club and have their fantastic buffet and watch the game from there...

Quakes...a bunch of 'em in the area...mostly over in the Palm Springs, Indio way...haven't felt them here...but...it must have, as our elevators were shut down for 3 hours yesterday...

Did you know the Jets have yet to score a touchdown in the 3 pre-season games thus far?...ha ha...you take your pick, Sanchez or Tebow...they are not getting in the end zone...

Back to the weather...it looks like Tampa is going to dodge Isaac...not so lucky is New Orleans...so the GOP can go on with the fun...the Romney fun...

You watch Big Brother?  Mindless, er brainless, piece of television...as the floaters, or newbies, or whatever, are actually leading the pack...of wolves...I don't know why we are addicted to this...

I should go out and practice me golf, but as my old golfing buddy, Cliffy, would say, "why would anyone practice that swing?"...

And golf...Tiger has lost it...can't play on the weekend...really?...it's hard to watch a train wreck...and can you believe a 15 year old won on the LPGA tour...have to say, the Americans have pretty much fallen off the map...congrats to the long hitting Nick Watney, for winning the 1st leg of the playoffs...
