Happy Mother's Day

I had a wonderful mother...perhaps, the most positive person ever...always found ways to help those in need...will always remember her as the best mom...
she wasn't the best at dressing me, however...this picture was taken on Larsen St. in old Chemawa...

Now to the stuff that I think I know...hoops...terrific effort by the highly undermanned Nuggets against the Lake Show...at times, the play was so fast and furious...very cool to watch...thought that Andre Miller absolutely destroyed any momentum...just as he did with the Blazers...Rudy must be hurt, huh?...on the other hand, I find it appalling that Ron Artest is allowed to be still playing...geez, I try to like LA, but with the cast of characters they have...I don't like 'em...

Padres get a win in Philly...two gems of relievers we have in Cashner (100+ mph) and Thayer (from where?)...the offense is still pathetic...however, Alonso is on a tear...if we could find just one other guy to go with him...will not be the ridiculously awful Odog, who struck out all 4 times he came to the plate...OMG...release him NOW...how do I really feel?

Golf...I thunk my pardner and I were going to be the winners...as we hammed and egged our way around Sycuan yesterday...nothing higher than net pars....but came in 5th...bunch of sandbaggers...I am still eating my words on the hair cutting in need, Fila sponsored, turribly mustached, Rickey Fowler...he poses a huge obstacle to pass for the big W at the Player's...and that island green...if it gives the best of the best fits...imagine what it would do to you or I...and please, Kevin, HIT THE BALL!

And my son's mom...she is just great...and is, WORKING on mother's day...what?  Maybe, I'll just go out to the casino and win her some money...ha ha...Sammi, as pictured, needs a haircut, too...
