This feller, this 49 year old feller, still can pitch in the big leagues...he who has played for like 8 different teams...and has been "retired" for the last 3 of them...can get the job done...albeit it was against the pitiful Padres...but it was a done deal...Jamie Moyer, plays for the Colorado Rockies...another team in need of pitching...

What about this elder baseballer...married to Digger Phelp's daughter...and they have 8 kids...wooah...maybe one for each team he has pitched for...by all accounts is a real good guy...gives back to the community where ever he is at...is a lefty, which is crucial to longevity in the game...

Mowed down the Padres yesterday and became the oldest player ever to win a game...and SD looked helpless in swatting at a 79 mph fastball...well, it's going to be a year like that for this Cali team...so, Jamie Moyer, Matt Kemp, Andre Ethier, and whom ever is next, enjoy you record setting season against the providers...the San Diego Padres...
