It's a big day here in the southland....as the Bolts host the Dolphins in a blacked out affair at 1ish...let's be honest here...SD is not as good as the pundits say...and to get a W will be a huge accomplishment...it's an easy schedule, for a good team...this group has to win to stay alive...I suppose that's what all organizations say...

So I watched a gaggle of college games yesterday...one thing is for sure, the Alabama Crimson Tide is the real deal...the Gators just got run over...in the desert the Beavs got bounced again...Wisconsin the pride of the heartland as they pulverized Nebraska...Air Force upset Navy, on a taunting call (real)...Michigan (Hoke) lambasted the Gophers, 58-0...no Ducks and no Aztecs...

I'm adjusting to the mild weather here...you know, being a Maui guy...have to wear a jacket at night for the Sammi walk...by the way, the food commodities on the island are very expensive...$6 for a loaf of bread...an indicator...booze?   Same as here...something about priorities...

You watching the beisbol playoffs?  Geez, I have seen zero innings thus far...I guess 'cuz the Red Sox nation is out of it...not really...there is an article about the play station GM's in the SI...one being the bloke out of Boston, via SD, at one time...bragging about putting their stats on a real life computer...as compared to the vets, who use a typewriter...so, how'd that work for you this year?

Kind of under the radar...the Dawgs beat Utah...it's a huge win...as did the Cougs over the Buffs...now that's a big day in Washington...by the way, why on earth would Ball St. (really) schedule a game versus Oklahoma?  I know the $, but don't you have some pride?
