A shock to the system of all Duck fans is the national vote in the football polls...whether it's the AP, Coaches, Harris, or BSBCS the west gets it's lack of respect...Oregon is voted 8th or 9th by most voters...there is this clown out of Cleveland (where else?) that has 'em 13th...fact is, and you're not going to like this...they are really a number 9 team, right now...there should be an 8 team playoff and settle the issue...but with the corrupt system in place, well...here's the deal...Alabama, LSU, both Oklahoma's...Wisconsin, Stanford, Boise St. and Clemson...are better than the Ducks...well, maybe not Clemson...which would put them 8th...see, that's the voting thinger...OK, it needs to be done on the field, not behind some yo-yo's computer...Arizona St. will be a huge test, especially without LaMichael...if indeed he's out...
I haven't played golf for a couple of weeks and this Wednesday is it...with the weather supposed to get back into the 80*s again, it'll be funnish...I expect the boyz to be smacking their wallets in anticipation...
Beisbol...it looks look like a Brew Crew world series run this year...the original Seattle Pilots are finally getting into the event...but, geez, the weather at this time of year is not so good...Milwaukee has a brand new retractable roofed stadium...they're OK with the bad weather...
Are you part of the "occupying wall street" protest? There has been a gaggle of protests marching through the Gaslamp Quarter...and my oh my, you can not believe how many police are escorting 'em around...isn't this your Columbus Day? Do they close the Wall St. doors for this?
Finally, we were at the Water Front Tavern for the game yesterday...8 of us...youngish and the oldish...packed and wild...the staff went crazy when the Bolt's scored, dancing and carrying on...really fun stuff...a little fact that we didn't know...that pub is the oldest in SD...as it used to be right on the water front...prior to when all the landfill took place, to build up that part of the city...
Where was Prince Harry? He was in town at the local pubs...
