So who's your pick to win it all?  I'm talking the NFL...just a month or so back, it didn't even look like there would be a season...it's too big here in the US of A...and now you get to pop off and bet...somewhere...in many states they have lotteries...some only have local bookies...or if you are like me I wallow in fantasy football leagues...for the right to say, I am the leader...and, forget to actually root for a particular team, but for my FF players...well...not so fast here in SD...it's all Bolts...Bolts this, Bolts that, Bolts everywhere...
With the probable year shelving of Peyton Manning, it will eliminate the Colts...sorry, but any QB they put in there can't even come close to him...and the Pats seem to have reloaded...the Jets have been saying it's their year...those are the popular choices...at least in the AFC...Chargers?  Maybe...a lot depends on the RB combo and the durability of the D...my guess?  Right in the hunt...and will weather their notorious slow starts...
In the NFC...really like the Saints...in fact, see them as setting records...

I have been very mean to the inept Padres...they won...finally...after another closed door type meeting...obviously, some of the boyz were going through the motions...and the vets said you ain't good enough...whatever...they need to get another GM to right the ship...wait, I've said that before...over and over...

Finally, the republicans are getting at each other...and it's what I want to see...give me a plan that will work with the economy and I'll be all ears...my leader?  Probably Mitt...I do wish Sarah would get in the race and finalize the speculations...not fond of the guv from Texas...or your gurl Michele...

Tonight we have the Okla St and Arizona game on the tube...watch the Cowboys real close...they are going to be in the final 4...I am telling you first...and, the NFL kicks off with the Saints at the Packers...which most of the land will watch...my FF QB is Brees...BUT...I'm gandering at the collegiate game...

We are hitting the beach today...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
