Lefty is ready for the MASTERS...he won by three strokes over a very game Scott Verplank at the Shell in Texas...of course, the best golfing show on earth is this next week in Georgia...but the way Lefty banged the ball around, gots to feel he is ready to defend his title...and the way golf is, if you're hot, it lasts a couple of weeks...and he is hot...
Staying with golf....the first major for the gals at the Dinah Shore...tiny Stacy Lewis beat the top ranked female, Yani Tseng, head to head...not only won her first major, but her first LPGA win anywhere...very cool stuff...and poor Morgan, doing her interpretation of Crazy Horse, with a quad, trip and double...BOGIES...and fell to third...

Hoops...tonight is the champ game for the Big Dance...UConn and Butler...who woulda thunk it...there is too much weird stuff out there...and thus, I have Butler winning it...do not bet on the game...ever...NBA...the Lakers looked tired in their home loss to Denver...and PDX continues it's home streak to 8 with a big win over the easily hateable Mavs...and the UConn girls got beat in the semi's to Notre Dame...thought that they wouldn't win it this year...see back to beginning of season...


The Pads will not go undefeated this season...however, Mosely did pitch well and the hitting took a day off...losing 2-0...lot of close calls, but no cigar...opening day tomorrow...no season tix for me this season...so will pick and choose our games...

Did you watch your CMA's last night?  I don't get it...Carrie is the best entertainer of them all...and wasn't even nominated?  What?  goofy stuff there...highlight of the night?  Her duet with Steven Tyler...great, great fun...

I'm finally on the mend and doing my normal Monday on the links out at Sycuan...80's...heat and score....I hope...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
