Harang Rang True

Nothing like an opening day win...against the bloody Giants!  Newly acquired Aaron Harang got the win and the closing staff of Gregerson-Adams-Bell sealed it...3-1...in typical Padre fashion...walks and taking advantage of some key errors...hip hip hooray!
Today it's the 2nd of but a 2 game series and Stauffer and Lincecum battle it out...we are home team dogs in it...hopefully we get Venable back in the lineup...

Did you know that some yahoo out of Ohio voted for Ohio St. in the final vote for the NCAA champ, even though UConn won it on the court...what a foo, and he should lose his voting privileges...oh well, I hate the voting process anyway...

The Masters cranks up tomorrow and Lefty is primed...hey, it is a great show...just got this feeling about Dustin Johnson...

And now the little things that have happened after 4 or 5 games...the Red Sox have yet to win...Kooz has made 3 errors already, when he was here, he made 3 the entire season...Nick Hundley is leading the majors in hitting at .533...Texas is undefeated...Jeter is at .167...as is Pujols...Manny is at .063 and TB hasn't won yet...the Orioles are undefeated, with 3 of 'em on the road...Adrian who?

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
