So I have the ticket for you...go online at either ITunes or Zune and download these lurve songs to a CD, cassette, 8 track, or playlist and you are set...I guarantee a little lurving for you...guaranteed!  I'm doing this a little early so you can get 'er done before Valentine's Day...this is the definitive collection of can't miss little ditties...and they are in no particular order...

14...Let's Stay Together by Al Green..."72...he has a bunch of nominees, but this one carries the most weight...

13...At Last by Etta James...this has been covered so many times since the Idol phenomena...

12...Careless Whisper...by Wham...I know what you are thinking, but...it is a great song and the video was awesome...

11...Wouldn't It Be Nice by the Beach Boys...every time they perform this I get goose bumps...and wouldn't it be nice if the Boys got together this year...

10...Need You Now...by Lady Antebellum...did you see Lea Michelle cover this last week on Glee?  Pretty darn good, but this is a beauty and I keep playing it over and over...

9...I Got You Babe...by Sonny and Cher...saw them perform this in '65 at the Salem Armory...just a sign of the times and a lovely piece of work...

8...Wicked Game by Chris Isaak...haunting and absolutely gorgeous tune...right?

7...Feels So Right by Alabama...they dominated the soft rock side of country for nearly a decade...this was their best...

6...Maybe I'm Amazed by Paul McCartney...so many lurve songs by the Beatles...but the highly waited for single by Pauly was the topper...I do feel he was not the same without John and the boys...

5...Volare by Bobby Rydell...OK, maybe it was done by a bunch of others, but this was the version of my youth...

4...I'm Not In Love by 10CC...the background on this one was very interesting, as they improvised on the voices there...big boys don't cry...

3...I Only Have Eyes For You by the Flamingos...way back, but way good...

2...Never My Love by the Association...another of those tracks that pretty much carried the airwaves way back when and I never got tired of it...

1...I Know You Won't by Carrie Underwood...the least known to the public, but if you play it you'll know what I mean...spectacular...

There you go...add 6 more of your own and you can fill up a disc and then gift it to your significant other...I guarantee it....

Very mature? Well I didn't really post my whole comment. I tried to post these songs three times and kept getting kicked out at the end. So condensced the comment. I originally said that your list was great and that a second CD might include these songs. Obviously there are thousand of lurve songs that could be lsited and enjoyed. Not that I'ver ever used music to as you say get a little lurvin.

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
