Hey, you have to do it...schedule a patsy to pad your winning record...and get yourself bowl eligible...and get your fan base all hopped up...so if you look at so many of the 1st games of most all the power house teams...just look at these...
Nichols St (SDS) lost by 47...
San Jose St. (Alabama) lost by 45...
Marshall (Ohio St.) lost by 38...
Eastern Illinois (Iowa) lost by 30...
New Mexico (Oregon) lost by 72 (told you)...
Florida A & M (Miami) lost by 45...
Samford (Florida St.) lost by 53...
La-Lafayette (Georgia) lost by 48...
OK, you get my drift...those who got bumped included Ol Miss with Massoli at the helm, upset by Jacksonville St...(what?)...ugly win by USC over Hawaii...
The Beavs...first of all, TCU is good...power line that totally controlled the game...my concern is that the defense can't stop that Duck type O...get back to practice and figure it out...
OMG...the Padres...total disarray...and I'm talking the management...Cabrera is not to be in the lineup...it is a scary time for this team...the lead is down to two...LA blew another save and SF gets closer...watching the Pads right now, is like watching a train wreck...in very slow motion...Clayton Richard to the rescue?

Went to the Duck game and left at halftime. It was fun and tailgating is a cultural event. QB Thomas has some work to do. Accuracy was not where it should be.
Well the Beavs definitely played a better team, I think they have some problems. their Linebackers were terrible. Couldn't get off any blocks. Strong safety and Nickle can't cover run. Too slow in space, especially Robertson. The QB is going to be a good one by end of season. Watch Port St Field goal kicker Zach Brown. He played for us and is big time.

Wow on the Ducks...Beavs have issues defensively...how did PSU do?

PSU played at Ariz St and got drilled, picked up their pay check and went home. They will play the Ducks in 2 wks. Why do these teams have to prostitute themselves just to get a Couple Hundred Grand for their programs? Any way the kid had three FG's. one was a 53 yds and one at 45yds.

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
