Walk Off

Mired in a deep slump, for him...Adrian Gonzalez... tried to and was successful, in winning the final game against the Mets...with a grand salammy in the 11th!  He had a double in the 9th, with the winning run being nailed at the plate...they call it a walk off...really, the Mets were very fortunate to be that close as the Pads left guys on base over and over and over...and continue with the best record in the NL....and nobody is talking about it...and nobody from SD is showing up at the games...the pitching, led by Clayton Richard, and the pen were marvelous...
Speaking of pitching...the Tiger's Armando Galarraga...had a perfect game going into the 9th...yup, another one this season...and got to one out of accomplishing the feat...grounder to the 1B, who tosses the ball to AG for the putout...out!...oops, the ump calls the runner safe!!!  Replays show that he was out...and thus, lost his place in baseball history...the ump sees the replay and met with AG later and felt horrible and apologized to the poor kid...I'm not down on the ump, I am down on bb, that refuses to use technology...every other sport does...fix it MLB...
Johan Van Der Sloot...what do you think?  He is a man of interest in a girl's death, this time in Peru...he all but admitted his guilt in the Nat Holloway death in a sting...a tragedy that he is on the loose...that's of course, he is guilty...but, please....
Back to baseball...allow the manager 2 challenges during the game...that's all it would take...
Tonight it starts...the champ series in the elongated NBA playoffs...SI says the Celts....Crazy Horse says the Lakers...bet the farm...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
