Incentives

I have written about this before...but...D-1 football coaches make a lot of money...a lot of $...throw in the incentives they have in their contracts for winning their conferences and then getting their team to a bowl game...well, it is a very attractive way to earn your keep...now the agreements have dipped into even lower pluses...like the one where the Dux Chip Kelly gets a $25,000 stipend for beating the civil war rivals, the Beavs...OMG! What on earth would the WSU Cougs coach have in his contract? Beat anyone and you get $500,000 a win?
Bobby Bowden, the elder coach from FSU, finally has stepped down from his perch...a legend and a job opening that should lure some top candidates...the tabs have talked about ND, but the FSU job must be better...but, alas, they did what the Dux did, filled the job from within way ahead of the retirement of the present coach, to get away from the strict NCAA standards for hiring coaches anymore...

The Prez...isn't it awesome that we have someone who can talk the way he does? It is a very difficult spot to throw more troops in a war far way from our land...to protect us from criminals that want to kill us here...I still wish that Russia and China would band with us on this...
Woe be the Trailblazers...there is something way wrong there...as I have been saying it may be the defense of it's star...my guess it is something much more than that...I have been following the Oregonian articles on it and there is inner turmoil on that team...and it's about to explode...chemistry is a key element in any group, and it is clear it ain't there...stay tuned...
