A Special SDS Day...

For all the futility of the San Diego St. football season, yesterday proved just the opposite for the Aztecs. Check this out. The guys hoops team upset BYU, the gals team upended UNLV...they each are in the finals of their conference playoffs...the baseball team, also beat UNLV, a team that was coming in to the fray with an 8 game winning streak. Of course the phenom, Stephen Strasburg, was on the hill...

As I mildly mentioned that Lefty was lurking at Doral...Whoa!...he unleashed a brand of Mickleson that we haven't seen for quite a while and is 3 up on the field. Tiger is still wallowing about at 3 under, just a mere 10 back from the leader. Still great drama to come about here...and do not count Woods out yet...

The WBC comes to town today and there is free practice sessions to the public over at Petco. Our game is Japan vs. Cuba...should be an awesome one...

So I watched the Blazers against the Nets last night...don't get me wrong Portland fans but BRoy is not on the same level as Kobe, LeBron, or the Big Ticket...and the Net's Carter, he may be the dumbest "superstar" in the game now...silly fouls that got him disqualified prior to the finish...Then there is the Mavs vs. GState...Dallas just gave up with a minute to go and did not foul to stop the clock...weird stuff as Kidd stormed off the court at it's conclusion, obviously ticked about the lack of coaching or effort...maybe it's just the NBA...

And finally...one of my favorite TV shows is HBO's Big Love...tomorrow's version is supposed to highlight a sacred happening in their church...an item the Latter Day Saints are not happy about. There is talk about boycotting HBO...so are they watching it anyway? I'm just saying...
