Make no mistake about it, the Korean time is on a high that matches no other in their quest for the WBC championship. In their way is the winner of today's Japan/USA match...you know who I think will win this...

Purdue continues to surprise me in the big dance...Gonzaga, UNC, Oklahoma, and Duke move on...It does seem that the big east is a factor in this, too. Well, the level of play is exciting, but more than that, ordinary. Does it seem to you that every team runs the same offense? It's like all the big time coaches have just gone to the modified pick and roll or pick and pop move as their key ingredient...boring.

Over in Tampa one 50 year old fellow by the name of Tom Lehman is beating all the young guns in his quest to win one more time on the PGA tour...leading after 3 rounds last year was another 50 year older, Greg Norman, and faltered in the last round at the British...C'mon Tom finish it off!

The Padres...it's just the Cactus League, but...they continue to get pummeled...their pitching is such in shambles that I don't know how they can win any games other than Peavy and Young's...
