Padres Pickling

Baseball has to have a blend of the new and the old. The Padres have that in their team this year. Unfortunately, the old is way too old. My first example is the closer, Trevor Hoffman. He has had the career of very few. Longetivity, success, durability, and the list goes on and on. But now, opposing teams feast on his pitching. His fast ball and change up are too similar to be effective. I loved to watch Arnold Palmer play golf, but his time was up, too.
