Desert Bloom

A sidelight to the heat of the Coachella Valley...the Desert Bloom...like most everywhere....way cool...this before Mother Nature decides to dump some rain on the area...and up and down the Cali coastline, too...we are expecting 2 days of it...'but we need it'...

We made it back to the Home...as the Horse was under the weather, and Boss did the driving...perfectly, I might add...I had something that did not agree with my system...oh well, a terrific time with them Gahrs, minus my last night...and yup, I slept and watched the pixels...all the games...some interesting things popped into me brain about 'em...

The dominance of them all, is the lack of quality officiating...not having a dawg in the race...thus, no preference to who wins...makes me a neutral observer...I kept thinking this was done, like a NFL game...so much holding, pushing, grabbing, and flopping...the refs allow it, and then when and if they do call it, it seems outlandish...Houston and Tennessee in particular, could almost maim a player and nothing was called...did I mention there is no such thing as palming the ball?...how many steps do the players have?...Euro + one?...as I told Big Larry Gahr, this is a big man's tourney...

More nay thing...the ladies T...the way the gals are acting is absurd...play the game...cut all the antics...of course, if the 'stars' do it, the others will follow...on the positive side, the Beavs won and are on to play the South Carolina gals...tall task...but, what the heck...the shenanigans will be on full display today...as Mulkey's LSU Barney and Bailey's Tigers play...so does, Caitlyn Clark...good hoops, that are marred by the buffoonery...

Preparedness...an interesting article of the Alabama Crimson Tide...who upset (I guess) the North Carolina Tar Heels in the guys bracket...they have graduate assistants who chart and spy on everything of the opponent...then, signal it to the players and coach...normally they sit behind the bench...but, in the Big Dance, they are given seats across from the team...and thus, pass sheets of paper across the floor...hmmm, why not have headsets?...I don't like the direction of this one time fluid game of basketball...guess there is so much money in it, the coaches will do anything to win...now, for them AND the players...

The Friars...the history of AJ's crew...they give up 3 or more in the first, they are doomed for the entire game...no diff last nite...SP Musgrove, who had a horrific spring, continued the same...gave up 3 in the 1st...and we were hitting against a wild rookie...makes no matter...we got whomped...I seem to use they and we interchangeably...identical...the Padres...AJ Preller needs to be fired...

Moving on to trump...he was given another gag order...which makes no sense, if the judges don't penalize the Bozo, when he breaks it...anyone else in the USA would be brought in and slammed in the pokey...any one else...and the latest most egregious act of all time...put on his fledgling social media site, Prez B hog tied in the back of a pickup...for the love of God, somebody must lock this guy up...is that not treason?...grow some, and hand cuff him...put him away...before another coup is set off...it will happen...if NO ONE STOPS HIS INSURRECTION!...

Oh yea, AJ...the guy you moved to NY...how is he doing?...the talk of the town, in a very positive way...3 hits yesterday, and the day before....threw out the tying run at the plate...Juan Soto...batting .571...right...and who did you get for return?...4 or 5 minor leaguers....ah, 'Futures?'....guys who pitch one inning, once in a while....for a guy who plays every inning, every day...fire AJ Preller...booooooo...

It appears to me...that I have an issue with the Padre 10 year GM, AJ Preller...I do...he has been given 3 different modes of trying to put together a team that would be in the elite section of MLB...failed miserably each and every time...this team right now, hopefully his last, has the least possibility of success since the YEAR he ruined a mid year rise, by trading for vets to take over for the rookies who got the Friars in position...this team, right now....has mediocre pitching at best...and has less than a 20% chance of beating the Bums, DBacks, Giants, in position...thus, 4th at best...as long as SD can beat Colorado...just being real...

I am now in a bad mood...dang it...

So Beyonce cut a country album...'Cowboy Carter'...here me carefully...I listened to it this am...it is excellent...perhaps, the best record I have listened to in YEARS!....trust the Horse...I was surprised...it is rad....cool...boss...groovy...I WILL buy the vinyl...
