The Welcome Relief

As I have been wailing about the HEAT, MY GAWD, THE HEAT...the humidity...for some, they might say...poor boy...we had some foreign weather happenings in the night...pellets of water, that many call RAIN!...hit down on LoCal...worse in some areas, but here...not so bad...the weather peops say more is on the way...'We need it'...is the cry...which takes the Horse off the course...

The trump envoy that met up with Putin called the Russian leader 'a humanitarian'...in what sense of that word does he fit?...as Vladimir is pushing on with his WAR, trying to abduct Ukraine...as I said yesterday, the release of the US teacher...is some form of a down payment for something...perhaps, we will never know what that might be...but a deed like that doesn't come without a price...

As the midterms inch closer and closer...those who are in desperation lash out with everything that they can muster up...often, just plain garbage...hope it sticks with some who may be in limbo...flood the airwaves with high-priced political ads...the stations win...none worse than Hootenanny's in Ohio...man, I hope he loses...

12 days to go...

We shall never forget...the cry of the Bend, Oregon killings...a horrific reminder that the guns are still out there...as the wicked users of them are too...ALL schools have the gut check...do a refresher mode as to what their plan of survival is...sad that they have to do it, but it is a reality...some day, one day, the rapid-fire guns will be banned...maybe...

Just an observation...and I have said this before...why don't we celebrate the greats while they are still alive?...not after they have passed...

The trump WAR...the more I think about it, the more mad I get...why did he start it, and then realize he has no exit?...he has left Iran in defense mode, and the USA in the highest prices in the history of the nation...just exactly what is the poopah doing?...galavanting about the US, with his smug face... lying to the people wherever he goes...leaning on the pulpit and spouting hate...what an example of leadership...make that 'leadership?'...

VOTE!....people, VOTE!...

The NBA is indeed off and running...the PDX team had a whopper of a starter...yes...and the Lakers, now without LeBron, did the same...if there is NOTHING else on, I will watch...

The WNBA ...the Atlanta team up 2...with Angel Reese, the leader....not a fan...and style of play + the actions of the players...no bueno...won't watch it...even if, not sure where it is...

DWTS...had a brouhaha...with the judge Carrie Ann at the center of it...OK, I don't dig her fake smile and/or her commentary...in my judgment, she is the one that needs to be removed...

Here we go for the football this weekend...Oregon at Illinois...BYU at UCF...Ole Miss at Texas...well, the Ducks in yet another must-win...the QB Dante is out again...the D has to win it...maybe it will snow...

The World Series finally gets going on Friday...

I had 4700 steps yesterday, and I am sore, baby, sore...hell, getting older...oh yeah, today we get the Flu shot...boo, but necessary...wonder if RFK Jr. gets one, too?...

'The Diplomat'...the final season...it was great...chilling...and well worth your time...on Netflix...start in season 1...now what?...

12 days...12...until we...

Return to Democracy!...
