The Price for a Pardon

Good afternoon all...you probably can see that I was ready to go this am...but, it was late...so my topic for the day is 'The Price for a Pardon'...yes, we are talking Presidential pardons...especially the ones by the poopah NOW!...doesn't it seem odd, that so many are being given?...hmmm...

It is illegal to buy a pardon...well, the orange has ways to get around this...and yet it still gets into his coffers...billions of bucks...how can that be?...listen my good friends...it is through the uncontrollable LOBBYISTS!!!...again, they rear their ugly, greedy heads...

Money from those who need a PARDON...give money to a lobbyist organization...which then gets filtered to...well, you know...

Not that the system hasn't been done by prior presidents...but, the numbers of the current president is simply staggering...

Listen, there is a booming 'cottage industry' of well-connected D.C. Lobbyists specifically hired to SECURE PRESIDENTIAL PARDONS and EXECUTIVE CLEMENCY!!!...and to find out just how much money has exchanged hands...is quite sticky...they file quarterly...that is, if you can believe what they say...The LDA (federal Lobbying Disclosure Act) is supposed to be...well, truthful...but, really kids...trump doesn't tell the truth...so why would this lobby do so...

And what is worse, who is going to check on them...the DOI, er DOJ?...right...

And the beat goes on...

Let's swagger over to the worldwide FIFA...lots of upset nations, in the games...due to the fact that trump...yes trump...interfered with the Cup...called the hoohah for the entire matches...and asked about the American red card...some say he coerced the Chairman to overturn the penalty...it is WHAT THE WORLD thinks...stay in your lane, bloke...BTW, Norway is tuff tuff tuff...'row the boat'...

NBA trades galore...the stinkiest of all...Jaylen Brown to the Sixers, and the Celts get Paul George...PG is a problem...and not a good one...the Sixers came out smelling like a rose...a red rose...

Holy moly...the Friars ended their 8 game losing streak!...finally beating the Bums...BTW, what was with that crowd at Chavez Ravine...1/3rd full...win or lose, Petco is always packed...

Tomorrow morning, back at ya...same bat channel...same bat time...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
