This is the celebration of the year, er YEARS!...250 of them...July the 4th...COOL...here at the Home, we have a gala gathering and then head up high...to see the infamous San Diego 'BIG BAY BOOM!'...over the Bay, duh...

The current squatter in the now Gold House...has great plans for the day...unfortunately, the public does NOT SHARE his enthusiasm for HIS ideas...a State Fair, that is EMPTY...it's too hot, and guess what?...the people don't like the bloke...so, he is now taking his behemoth body to Mt Rushmore...to talk and give his intentions for having his mug up on the mountain above the Sioux Nation...

He blabbered out that there is a new menace amongst the American peoples...borrowing the mantra of the 50's Joe McCarthy...there is a COMMUNIST THREAT to the USA...poopah, do you not have any shame?...what happened to his partnership with Vladimir Putin?...best buds and all...the guy behind this slogan is the much distrusted Stephen Miller...be aware of this dude, kids...be very aware...

On the much brighter side...T & T are married!...the speculations are gone...the marriage was officiated by none other than Adam Sandler...didn't you do this to some peops, Snooki?...too bad they didn't call you...it definitely was a who's who, who got invited and attended the wedding...who's who who...that is great English, right?...one valid query...did Sandler wear a sport coat?...

The ERROR...man, the Friars have to play flawless to beat the Bums...cruising against the star of star, Ohtani...a 2 base error of a double play ball by Cronenworth, paved the way for a bases loaded grand slam...loss...sad days for the Padres...as the decline continues on...

46 years young Lucas Glover is leading all them youngins at the John Deere Classic in Illinois...he resurrected his game going to the long putter, just like Larry Gahr uses...the PGA, kids...wonder if the weather holds up?...and he does, too...

The FIFA...Messi and Argentina held off the upstart Cape Verde...3-2...a surprise match...that was that close...

You've heard of Martin & Lewis, George and Gracie, Laurel & Hardy, Abbot & Costello, Cheech and Chong, and now...Cooper & Cohen...ah, what?...Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen...great duos of comedy?...

Uh oh...there is a report out...that the WORST bourbon sold at Costco, is MY FAV...Jim Beam...really?...must be done by a rep from Jack Daniels...just don't get it...hmmm, I mean I just don't get it...not that you shouldn't get it...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
