We Three Kings


We three kings of ...well, the wannabes...Putin, Netanyahu, and trump...as they go on their merry way of doing whatever they so choose...one is turning 80 today...and get this...is celebrating with an UFC Fight in 'his' very own front yard...ah, the luxury of using all the money of the country to afford such a luxury...yes, this is tongue in cheek, kids...throughout the States, there are 'NO KINGS' marches set up, too...just to remind the poopah, there are others that don't dig what he is doing...

The settlement with Iran?...trump says the deal is imminent...but, Iran knows the irony of signing it...on trump's birthday...irony?...more like self-serving, of course...'he has stopped yet another war'...to paraphrase a Seinfeld line...'he starts 'em, so he can end them...and call it a victory'...let's go elsewhere...

The BIG story, for the day...and NYC in particular...and it goes nationwide...as even my friends are pumped up...the Knickerbockers won the NBA Championship...5 games...I got to see the final quarter...man, as per every game, the Spurs had their chances...and couldn't get it done...the Knicks could and did...yes, Brunson had the game of games...hooping 45!...my take on Wemby...shut your mouth, kid...until you can back your crap up...but, I like the youth of that San Antone squad...


In the general area of the trump UFC fight...is where the Baltimore Orioles play...and after whupping us in game 1, we came back and did the same to them...the Friars...hitting the long ball, finally...withstood a mound experience of Matsui...witnessed a bean ball attack on our SS, Bogie...and then, 5 innings later, the retaliatory shot at them...immediately got our P ejected...the dude was hit in the back, not in the head, like Bogie was...beisbol, it is what happens...oh yea, and rookie Mgr Stammen, got tossed too...arguing...good for the dude...he needed to stand up...

Do you have 'GOLD fever?'...it is the thing, amongst the rich fat cats...buying anything GOLD...watches...bars...teeth...eyeglasses...whatever...gold toupees...

Who in their right mind would ever say "I love the inflation"...you know who...and that is a big happy birthday to the owner of all this mess he has created...

It's Sunday and time for the...yup, the Monster Sudoku...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
