Mosque Shooting

Another tragic mass shooting...this time in our city...San Diego...at a Mosque...2 killers, and 3 dead, as it is reported this morning...the assassins were 17 and 18 ...the motive?...has not been released yet...we are living in a virtually unprecedented era...hatred is all around us...starting from the top of the political system...that is resting in the Gold House...it has been said often, that right now...yes, right now, the country is as divided as it has been since the mid 1800's Civil War...so much distrust and suspicions...

trump has announced that he is holding off from attacking Iran...giving them more time to agree to a settlement in the trump WAR...which seems so pathetic...as the Law of the Land... does not give him, and only HIM...the right to attack...his 60 day 'grace' period of using OUR military as his prowess, is over...and MUST go to Congress to go further...which he is not doing and it looks like...he will do whatever he damn well pleases...in other words, trump says 'screw the Constitution'...yes, kids...he is saying that 'who will stop me?'...good question...

The Horse has always been a bit leery of the billionaire, Mark Cuban...his claim to be a self-made rich, fat cat...and a mainstay on the television hit, 'Shark Tank'...alas, he started an online prescription drug biz...to cut the cost of the pharmaceuticals to the average American...alas, not doing well enough...just now...has partnered up with the currrent squatter in the Gold House...yes, the poopah...as working with him and his trump RX, is a feather in his balding head...whatever...

I reckon those tv stars stick together...

On my drive back home, around 11:45 am from the golf course...I did notice many police cars, lights and sirens at full tilt...and they were going fast...had to be to the shootings...which was done, right off the 805...I knew something was up...

Huge win for the Friars in game 1 vs them Bums...1-0...48,000 plus at Petco...yes, many in Dodger blue...as the lure of selling the home seats for a big payday has hit the season tix holders...too bad...had one seller, from the Home, offering his for double his normal asking price...guess we all have to find a way to pay for our petrol...back to the game...imagine ONE RUN from both those teams!...playoff atmosphere...

At the same time, it was game 1 of the NBA playoffs for the west...Spurs at the Thunder...watched this, too...as I was changing back and forth from the Friar game...double OT...and the diff?...that 7'6" (?) center for San Antone...Wembly...actually his name is Victor Wembanyama...a French dude...41 points, 24 rebounds, and hit a beyond downtown 3 ball in a crucial moment...

Tonight...we venture over to Humphrey's for a concert...been a while...as you know we go to a lot of 'em...the event?...none other than the infamous Paul Anka!...first time we have seen the crooner...'Diana' !!!

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
