In his quest to capture the American public...trump...after the attempted assassination of ...well, the cabinet of his...maybe him, too...he decided to take an interview for '60 Minutes'...the CBS Sunday evening NEWS show...and other things, over the years...often groundbreaking...his talk?...started fine, for him...SOFTBALL QUERIES...then, it turned...as he did...from an almost presidential like bloke...to a vindictive person, that he is...calling the reporter names...as she had the audacity to list some of the assassin's 'manifesto'...he assuming that the quotes were about him...and IMMEDIATELY labeled Norah O'Donnell as a 'DISGRACE'...to HER face...as she did not blink...subsequently, trump declared "I am not a rapist. I am not a pedophile"...if true, release all the Epstein Files...as she says on Judge Judy, 'prove it'...

Prez Nixon..."I am not a crook."

Prez Clinton..."I did not have sex with that woman."...

and so it goes...

60 days for the un-named WAR...on May 1, trump must go to Congress to get approval for his WAR...ah, that is the law of the land...if followed...again...the republicans still have the numbers, so...they must like what he is doing...

The DBacks got going late and beat the Friars to split the series in Mexico City...dang...now we return to Petco to take on all of Chicago...first da Cubbies, and then the White Sox...

That Fitzpatrick kid is hot hot hot...as he and his Bro won the duo thang in Loosiana, in the PGA...

In the LPGA, Nelly Korda returned to No. 1. as she won the major...by 5...

The trip...Cy did well in his game...got 3 rbi's and didn't show rust for being out for so long...we get teeth cleaned this am...and then...head on up to Pismo for a couple of days...yes, Lucy is a travel hound...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
