Iran 'Collapsing?'


The item for the day...as reported by trump...is that he was told, that 'Iran was collapsing'...really?...the truth?...OK then, this is very interesting...what might happen to trump's WAR?...or, of course, the biggest part of it all....the Strait of Hormuz opening and the OIL passes through...the facts are, that we don't know the facts...we are spoon fed stuff and are supposed to believe it...

Now, the assassination attempt...what might be the truth here?...the agent shot, was done by 'friendly fire?'...did the alleged assailant actually do any shooting?...he was charged with an attempt to assassinate the president...this might be a very curious court case...he was there for something sinister...right?...not sure it was for the president...more questions that we don't get answers for...

There is a big deal with the King of England here in DC...the tele is broadcasting it all over the channels...hmmm, what does trump gain from it?...he always gets something for himself...so that's the puzzle...what does he gain?...cuz, he is...something...one more, will Harry and Meghan be there?...Duke and Duchess...so weird....imagine me being honored somewhere, and our son being banned from attending...

The Friars won game 1 vs da Cubbies...however, the highlight was the fair ball on the 3rd base line in the 9th...clearly foul, and the home plate ump scampered down and followed the rock...and called it fair...egads, apparently not reviewable...the thing that got me...was the ump on the take?...something smelled...I guess it is in the eye of the beholder...Cubbie fans will say for sure fair...

Teeth cleaned...done...of course, I am biased here...but Doc Cris (back at work) has a terrific dental office in Montecito...ranked 1 or 2, every year...but, this was kinda funny...the hygienist was a blast...said that she also did her work at nursing homes...for many hard to clean...aged, dementia, Parkinson's, and well others...so, she works fast...and this....she didn't ever ask me to turn this way or that way...she adjusts...did me in less than 30 minutes, and I asked her if she gave me her 'dementia mode of cleaning?'...she belly laughed as I did...

We watched Idol last eve...yes, the best 5 are going through...still, the producers never show actual numbers...my top 3?...the 2 gals and the older guy....all bonafide...

Lakers lost, so I had momentary happiness...still they are up 3-1...and will win the series...

I watch on teevee, or movies, or news...and they all have laptops, without power cords...geez, my battery lasts not very long...what do they have that I don't...mine is a Mac Book Pro...I'm missing something...aren't I?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
