The cats did go to the Friar's game last eve...thought we would go early, as to get the 'puffy vest' that was the giveaway....ah, ha...we were not the only ones, going early....there were lines stretching almost to eternity...no lie...we did get in, and got 'em...the notion of 'puffy', not so much...but, they are rad...and we partied in the park for a good hour....prior to game time...which was fun...our seats?...lower level, but not our cup of tea...we are spoiled and longed for the Omni Club ones...it was a ho hum game, and we left down 6-0...ugly really....stopped for a bite to eat...not at the ball yard, as the lines at the concessions were gaudy, too...left after the 8th inning and down 6-2....and got up this am, and had a note from the good Dr...'WE WON!'...what?...the lads scored 5 in the bottom of the 9th....missed it...grandson Cas's fav Friar, Jackson Merrill, got the game winning hit...7 in a row...wooah...who'd a thunk...
