So much for the trump guarantees...that the Strait of Hormuz will be always OPEN...as almost as soon as he proclaimed HIS victory...Iran CLOSED it...not only that, but declared they would be the sole administrator as to whom runs the Strait...yes, even firing on a couple of Indian (like the dot on the forehead ones) oil tankers TRYING to pass through it...

How do I really feel?...

The Friars got game 2 in Anaheim...took a while to score some runs...like almost 18 innings, covering 3 games...and we FINALLY gotter done...BTW, Miller was only so so in his closing, and still is awesome...game 3 and for the series win, today...

Dang it, the Lake Show beat the Houston Rockets in game 1 of the NBA playoffs...as Houston was playing without KD...oh well, LA was without Luka...guess the Laker bench is better than the Rocket one...who 'coaches' the Rockets anymore?...is Rudy T still there?...

Probably makes no difference for any PGA Tournament...if Scottie is in it, he will show up close to the top at the end...and voila, in this weekend's South Carolina one...here he is, 9 or so back at the mid-point, and now...in 2nd place and in the final group...cool, calm. and highly calculated...

This thing called Coachella...for the younger set, I reckon...in fact so much so...that there are us elder folk, that get a kick out of the goers...as they meet up, set their lawn chairs down, and cheer on the attendees as they pass by...in Indio...how about that?...both generations partying...pour me another...

Singing Hills is closed for tournaments tomorrow...so, we are heading out to another GC to play...ah ha...thus, I did not get my clubs...down to the storage to put together a sub set...(math)...got enough clubs and enough old balls...what could go wrong?...actually, am going for the beer and cigars...the score?...don't care...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
