21 Hours of Iran/Vance (and Jared)


Alas, after 21 hours of negotiations with Vance and his two pawns (one being Jared!)...with Iran in Pakistan...NADA!...no compromise...all the while, the big whale and puppet master...had the audacity to take his family...really, including the ladies...to a UFC Fight in Miami....leaving his pawns to do the work...as he entered the arena, where he normally calls the people there...'his people'...he was serenaded with BOOS!...I am sure that's why he took the ladies, to think 'his people' wouldn't BOO him, if they were in tow...nope, he is not loved anywhere...

So now, what's what?...the rumor out is that the trump's plan is to do his own blockade of the Strait of Hormuz...what?...yes, align the American frigates up so they will block anyone trying to get through...what a mess, and at this rate...there is nothing but an all out WAR in the future...probably near future....what a mess...

So much attention to the elections of president in Hungary...so much so, as trump sent over Vance to influence the voters...LOL...nice...as so did Putin...here we go...as this selection is done on a Sunday!...hint hint hint...USA...fuggit about Tuesdays, and go for the weekend voting day...makes so much sense...

And now the Masters...boy, was I wrong...as Rory McIlroy stumbled like a guy that was thinking he had it in the bag....choking...really...and the rest of the field closed in...Cam Young is now TIED at the top with Rory...Scottie shot a 7 under and is but 4 back...and there you go, HIGH DRAMA at Augusta today...so many guys could score low and WIN...just like a great Kentucky Derby race...who is the best closer?...

Over at the ball yard....the Friars have now won 3 straight over the Rockies...a bruising 9-5 win...and did not go to our closer Miller...the rest day...kinda needed him...but held on...a chance at a 4 game sweep this afternoon...Military Sunday, where the Padres honor the local bases...two sections of them, are in the park...and really, the tribute to them in the 3rd inning (I think) is heart felt...

Hey, when the announcement of how many fans are at Petco, some 42,000 plus....and, of course, a sellout...they all are...it gets into my head...when you listen to the Masters broadcast, the guys and gals, call the fans...PATRONS!...lordy....sometimes, a private club can go too far...

Yea, so the FrIars had 42,287 PATRONS at the game yesterday....

Does a fan act like a patron?...does a patron act like a fan?...no phones allowed on the course at the Masters...you see what you see...from your very own eyeballs...

A fan might BOO Patrick Reed...a patron would not...there you go, the difference...but, both fans and patrons would BOO the poopah....so, I dunno....

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
