The Prize


No, I am not talking the Nobel one...the Natty Champ one...as the Indiana Hoosiers did it...not only won that, but completed an undefeated season!....ahem, beating the Ducks, twice!...they got my vote...I can think back a bit earlier...when I noticed how badly they were beating teams...to the point of adding them to my 'Big Games' of the year for UO...my oh my, and how it was....they won at Autzen...

This Champ game was a beaut....as former Duck HC Mario Cristobal, had his Miami Hurricanes ready...in fact, this one was not done til the end...as the Canes had the rock and were driving...UNTIL an intercept...and that was that...not sure how this is possible, but Miami's QB (Carson Beck), is in his 7th year at the collegiate level...what?...7?...and gets $4 million to boot...well, run the offense...

Which brings me to this...is collegiate football NOW the minor league for the NFL?...just like in beisbol?...convince me otherwise...

So much still going on with trump's wants to have the other prize I mentioned...the Nobel one...it's all about him...and he wants to leave a legacy....listen, bloke, you already have...and it will be in the history books FOREVER!...

Greenland...which the US has bases there already...he wants more...he wants to own it...don't listen to his 'reasoning', it is solely for his own gratis...somehow makes his legacy even bigger...and so it goes, the republican congressional just nod and go along...egads, spineless people...and they know better...

Jack Smith...is to address Congress in a few days...PUBLICLY!...oooeee, and the trumpster is hopping mad...in fact, he will be out of the country...his pawns will attack Smith, per command...and the opposition will bask in the limelight...of showing the country and er Congress, how evil this bloke really is...a can't miss moment...well, moments...

Earthquakes...a jolt to us all...and Cali is known for 'em...had one last afternoonish...a 4.9 one...and it hit in Indio...land of them Morrises...who said it felt and sounded like thunder, and their home shook...we did not feel it here in Diego...always a concern for the high rise living...

Expect another BOOM... to the stock market today...cuz of trump's feud with the European nations...the BOOM is a bad one, too...thx, donny...

There are a boatload of flicks flooding the cinema's houses in the next few weeks...one is called 'Melania'...yes, that one...oh my...ok, magas, get your tix now...is that called a BOON?...

Well, the cats dismantled our 2 old iMacs...wiped 'em clean...and now the problem is...where to recycle them?...going to an Apple Store?...in a mall, and hard to get to...'they' say Best Buy...also, so that's the plan this morning...BTW, this newbie is a beaut, and dang fast...did buy it at Costco...

Curiously, now that trump is running Venezuela...there have been no destruction of 'drug running  boats'...the seas are open, my friends...I reckon...

The number 1 item in most of my sources this am...is the trump want and need for owning Greenland...who'd a guessed that a year ago?...probably not a good time to join the military...

We got new shower heads...have you ever seen the Seinfeld episode with Kramer and his new shower head?...it is so like that...the power of these is...well, they are...I think they are the Commando 450!...

During the national anthem of the champ game...the camera showed trump...and my oh my, had to cut away ASAP...another BOOM of Boo's...especially here at the home...

It is bright, sunny, and warm today...get out and enjoy...us?...to da pool, kids...

Gonna end with this...did you know...that Planter's Peanuts have been around since 1916?...and that Mr Peanut was introduced then?...I lurve 'em....they tried to kill him off at 104...NOPE!....still alive and chomping...the Chemawa Cocktail...Pepsi and Peanuts...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
