The Jack Smith Testimony


There are a lot of things on my mind today...and I could have named my blog title many other choices...but, this testimony to Congress, and the PUBLIC...by Jack Smith...leads in importance...he is an attorney and former Special Counsel for the (when it was the DOJ and not DOI) Department of Justice...trump's pawns are ready and willing...and the Demos are loaded with fire....to get the truth out of this man...it will be a battle of wills...the main issue is the attempted coup of Jan 6, and trump's involvement...and let's see how tall Mr. Smith can stand...you can judge for yourself...

The Davos Diplomacy Debacle...OK, that is slanted...sorry, magas...but, out of the caldron came this beaut...and you have been hearing about it prior...trump's NEW, and BETTER, way to run the World...in lieu of NATO, or even, the UNGA, the United Nations General Assembly...he is bringing to the table his very own...BOP, ah, the Board of Peace...how was it received?...laugh laugh laugh...as he says he has 25 Nations...but, get this kids, none of the powerful ones...Israel is in...as is Saudi Arabia...but, none of the Euros, Russia, China, and well, you get me drift...the idea, is that trump would lead it...after his session of squatting in the Gold House has been ended...and on and on...and on, it goes...

OK now, this ICE Gestapo has gone but another step...they are claiming that they need not have a WARRANT to infiltrate a home...Chief, what say you?...how would you have liked that to add to your abilities back when you ran things?...as I have said before, how in the world can ICE be the judge and jury at the same time?...where has this justice thing gone?...what a mess...more than that, an absolute MOCKERY to any law of the land...some ruling body has to stand up and stop this unchecked misuse of policing...

We are watching the Netflix flick of 'The RIP'...Ben Affleck and Matt Damon the major stars...probably not a good one for real police to watch...as the picture of good cops and bad cops...explodes on the screen...well, the pixels, for us...cool sound effects, tho...stuff coming thru all the speakers...just for that, it's worth the viewing...unless you are a cop, DEA, or, Narcotics Cop...

Speaking of films...have you paid your $ and got a tix for the docu on 'Melania' yet?...'Nope, Not Me'...the Orlons...

For some, the announcement of the grandiose Academy Awards is a big deal...and the leader in the clubhouse is the movie 'Sinners'...hmmm, have not seen it...well, if it isn't on the pixels, we see nuttin' else...for youse who go, is it that good?...

Sporty...the NBA...the Thunder vs the Bucks...oh my, what a mismatch and well, the sound playing throughout the game, should have been the Village People's 'Y.M.C.A.'...'set it up!'...right...one more thing...Milwaukee's Antetokounmpo, is the modern day LeBron...and soon will be traded to?...

Early guesses on the NFL semi's...Rams over Hawks...and Pats over the Broncos...really?...both visitors winning?...that's why one should never ever bet my picks...Sunday games...

PGA is in the desert...at PGA West...most of the bigs, will be there...starts today...this is the one, when I start to watch...

Commentary...with the NIL the leading force in D-1 collegiate sports...what the product is, is exactly that...a product...it is no longer a product of the universities or colleges...paid to play...many, don't even go to school...to classes...they just play...so, it is not surprising that 'sports betting' is rampant in the games...a recent finding of 17 'collegiate teams' were involved in point shaving...is not astounding...in fact, I fear it is rampant...it's all about the money...imagine a quarterback earning $4 million dollars to play and NOT attending one class!...it is true...where on earth are the college and university presidents?...they must be  turning a blind eye...enough...it is time, to reestablish a governing body for the sports at schools...if it is NOT TOO LATE!...how about taking as much time to formulate a group, as they do for finding the team to be in the CFP....the college football playoffs...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
