MLK Day


Martin Luther King Day...today...as guess who wants to rename it...duh...well, as a holiday...and replace it with a June 14th bonanza date...trump's birthday...which was, Flag Day...ah yes, the wannabe King continues his plight of getting statues of him...all over the land...with gigantic pictures of him, plastered on high rises...like every other dictator in the World...his dream...much different from MLK's Dream...

Yes, kids, and I have a dream...

CBS came to their senses?...but did air the El Salvador Prison segment last eve on '60 Minutes'...brutality and the pix of FF Noem in front of the bare chested prisoners, was a disgrace to the USA, let alone humanity...

Somehow, the donald, has lumped together the resistance of Europe to his wants and desires of owning Greenland...with the denial of him 'winning' the Nobel Peace Prize...what a foo believes...

And sure, the trump DOI, has ordered the investigation into the Minnesota Guv and Minneapolis Mayor, but NOT into the ICE Gestapo agent who shot the gal, Ms Goode, in the face thrice, or was that FOUR times?...

OK now, the semis are set...The Pats at the Broncos...and the Rams at the Hawks...another beauty of a game with the Rams/da Bears...OT, and had it's drama moments for both teams...as many of you ponder this, just what is pass interference, anyway?...who is pushing who?...and when do the hankies come out?...

Tonight the BSCFP final game...in Miami...as the dawgs of the 'Canes have a major task ahead of them,...see the Hoosiers by 20...no kidding...outside of any key injury, that is the ball game...but, it is football, and injuries happen...

Oh my, did watch the Lakers last eve....free to me...as they really sat in a 2-3 zone, most of the game...honest Injun...didn't move much...do NOT call NBA play, coaching...whenever LeBron had the ball (often), he dribbled, then dribbled, dribbled some more, and then hucked up a shot...as the other Pro players just watched him...once in a great while, he shocked all, when he passed the rock....'set it up!'...right...coaching...

Now that the NFL season is almost over...they still have an all-star game...no longer in pads...but a touch football game...well, flag football...ah, so what do the linemen do?...might be better if they all just had a golf tourney...it is a FARCE!...are the Manning Bros still the 'coaches?'...

Is there a more talented singer, guitarist, innovator than Vince Gill?...he can and does, sing most anything...really well...name names of people, musicians, that have been left in the dust...LeeAnn Rimes, Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Blake Shelton...to name a few...and if you can still see them in concert, DO SO!...they are the best and much better than the people that are in the spotlight right now...and right, now Carrie Underwood is in that group...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
