Davos, Switzerland


For most of us, we have never heard of the place....skiers have...Davos, Switzerland...where this year, the WEF is meeting there...the World Economic Forum...and yup, the current squatter in the Gold House...is there...representing (gulp) us, the USA...and yes, he is talking and talking...and talking...

His 'speech' is one that would make most of us cringe...let alone the audience, FILLED with the European Leaders...telling them why...'Greenland should be in US hands, for protection'...OK, imagine their reaction...and then this beauty...'that Europe is no longer RECOGNIZABLE!'...perhaps, to him, on the map...he is still going on and on...and on...as I write this am...

In the interim, as predicted yesterday...the BOOM! we all felt...was the Stock Markets big DROP!...due to trump and only trump's delusional spat with the European Nations...and yup, today, he is meeting with them, face to face...

This is his most costly DIVERSION thus far, from his problems back in the States...as Jack Smith is front and center with Congress tomorrow...telling them and the entire Nation...of trump's misdeeds...yes, the orange is outta town...

The outcome of the Davos meeting ought to be earth shattering...man, I hope not physical...

Let's get to other thangs...I am reading about a Navy Seal...one of the men, who got Osama bin Laden...what the Seal's journey was all about...how they are cast as one...it is intriguing...and the fact that the final stages of becoming one...happens right here. across the bay...in Coronado...adds pertinence to my interest...

Imagine going to a park...to walk...walking your dog...playing in the park with your kids, grandkids...throwing the frisbee about...having a picnic...you know the drill...well, now, here in San Diego...we have the ultimate park...Balboa...massive and simply beautiful...and the Mayor needs cash in the coffin...so to speak...so, out of the blue...he erects pay machines...yup, one has to PAY to play...$10 for the rights...guess what?...nobody is parking there...and the park is laid bare...it is a HUGE item at the meetings...can't tell you how many times we walked Sammi there...hundred?...

Watched the 1st half of the Lakers/Nuggets  game last eve...really no match, as the Joker sat...but imagine 'coaching' the Lake Show, with 40% of your team, not playing defense...LA won, but, oh my...no amount of $ would make me 'coach' that team, as is...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
