Thanksgiving


You are probably up early...if you are the primary cook for the day...worried about this...worried about that...timing, and all the set up...it is...Thanksgiving...

It may be an occasion for family to meet, greet, and eat...it may be 'Happy'...over the years, we have done a little of this...and a little of that...times move on...losing family...always the hardest...

The dreaded football games, that most women detest...the guys, love them...there are 3 on board, today...none better than the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs...

Which brings me to the original 'fellowship meal''...where the Cowboys and Chiefs, really did come together...so, is the lore...who knows for certain...the impetus for Thanksgiving...

In our elder years, the meaning is still there...the size of the gathering, not so much...for some reason, the off spring haven't carried on the tradition...I guess that's what you call it...the Zens, whatever...I get lost in what the age groups are called anymore...

Not so happy, is the shooting of National Guardsmen in DC...by a Afghan, who was fighting with the US, back in the Afghanistan war...egads, the motive?...have not heard yet...but, trump, has already responded, with...get this...sending 500 more NG's to the area...what?...crazy...of course...

Perhaps, he needs 500 more down around his golf course in Mara-Lago...hey, build a moat...and a castle...

It is amazing how people get all riled up about who won the DWTS...more so, than who got the presidency...JCC on the former, good lord on the latter...

The disaster in Hong Kong...the fires were set?...I think so...so many lives lost...as I have said for so long...too many people do not cherish man and woman, alive...

Might it be the corrosion of religion?...for too many, the non-belief seems the path...we MUST value life...

How about the after life?...that seems to be the confusion...

Sporty...but I did watch some hoops...trying to see what that Michigan team is all about...well, they are the real deal...beating the before undefeated Zags...by 40!...the Wolverines have all the weapons...thus, I take back the downer on SDSU...

I shot my age on the links yesterday...albeit from the red tees...could have been somebody, if I hit any of my birdie putts...no kidding...

What do you think?...would or should, a president fly back to DC as this tragic shooting happened?...to be there to talk to the people?...or, stay at Mara-lago...and play golf?...got a 200 quid bet on what this one will do...

Don't take this too wrong...but, FBI 'Chief' Kash, appears timid and weak....to use trump's words...while standing by the real DC Police and Mayor...his hollow words, praising trump, during the tragedy...was absolutely LAME!...

Macy's Thanksgiving Parade...OK, you watching?...my mother would never miss it...but, I didn't know there was still a Macy Store...

And finally...for all you fellow coaches...who still pass on 'The Turkey Trot'....good on you...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
