Strange Brew


'Say it isn't so, Joe'...talk about weirdness...and yes, I am the one...that keeps telling you all...that expect the unexpected...from DC...this past week has been disastrous for trump...in so many ways...

The reversal on his rejection of the Epstein Files...with so many possibilities included...the jobs report, missing in action...the stocks tumbling about...the prices of goods and services skyrocketing...the polls showing him as the least liked, EVER, that squats in the newly golden adorned White House...his meeting with the new Mayor of NYC, and he got hammered there...and finally, one of his close allies, MTG, not only exposing the orange, but, then, announces her retirement from the House...oddly, on January the 5th...

It's been a bad 7 days for the grand poopah...

Back here at the home, the weather has finally turned....to it's norm...heat on the rise...and this damn wet stuff be gone...ah ha, just in time, for the unveiling of this year's version of the Christmas Tree...did I say damned?...well, Boss was not happy with moi...as I ordered one of them prints online that has a list of the Shepard Fam on it...thing is, much to my dismay, it was done....here we go, in China...like most everything else these days...and Caspian's name was misspelled...2 i's, if you can imagine...anyhoo, she hates it...

So, I tried another angle to hoops...watched the Notre Dame/USC gals play...must say, enjoyed it more than the guys version...these ladies have really stepped up their abilities...kind of cool to see the 'set shot' being used...UConn must be good again, right?...

Tonight we head on out to El Cajon for a concert that features Al Jardine and the Pet Sounds Band...he can't use the Beach Boys name, as Mike Love bought the rights to it...but, they play the same stuff...and we are interested...Al is indeed an original BB...for some reason, the 2 don't jive together...

Noonish and soon after...the Ducks and the Trojans play in the must see game of the weekend...football, kids...and the winner has a terrific chance of making the playoffs...which I have been telling ya'll this entire week...the key for UO?...run the ball right at USC...we shall see, as the Ducks are 2nd in the Nation...at packing the rock on the ground...GO DUCKS!...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
