S.B.S.


Is this a 4 day weekend for you?...fuggit about us elders...we have many of them...but, YOU, do you?...as the rowdy days of early, like very early, shopping on the so called 'Black Friday'...those times are long gone...now, so many of us do our buying via the web net...

HARKEN!...there is a new thing happening down here in LowCal...the masses are returning to the mall!....two are getting mega traffic....one near the border, and the other, highly upscale in Carlsbad...we have been to both, and are great...the local news carried their coverage LIVE, from both...and yup, they were slammed...interesting...how about where YOU live?...

As this is the crazy buying weekend for many...this day has a name for it, too...SBS...Small Business Saturday...get out and support (er, buy from) your local, small mom and pop stores...keep them going...as the main chains, have a way of devouring the locals...and now...the web net ones are devouring the chains...sharks eating whatever in their path...

YOU might try the other angle...well, we have many down here...the 'Saturday Markets'...which are always cool and well attended...they have foods, too...and usually live music...our one in Little Italy is a must do, when in town..YOU will buy something, guaranteed!...

The day is down for the Ducks...at Husky Stadium...for a must win...MUST...a W, and on to the playoffs...a loss, and well, you never know...to say that it is a tossup, is a great guess...I know nothing about UW...nothing...I do know, that Texas beat A&M, clearing a path for UO to move up in the BSBCS standings...with a W...egads, talk about intensity...we shall see...

Talk about shopping...what was the hardest part about it?...when we all went to a mall?...yup, finding a parking stall...a couple of the states, like Florida and Illinois, adopted a new policy...if you are preggers, you can park in a handicap stall...hmmm, do they have stickers that say 'I am pregnant?'...well, the hdcp'ers are not happy about it...what say you?...

Woke up to this in me head...and I wanna tell you...I have not heard this song for years....years I tell ya...'Has your chewing gum lost it's flavor, on the bedpost over night?'...egads, what is wrong with the Horse?...I used to see people chewing gum ALL the time...don't now....or, I don't pay attention...Doublemint was my fav...green wrapper...do elders chew?...

I told Boss we were going to Del Mar for the ponies today...I dunno...not feelin' it...will try to postpone til mañana....you see, I have one tix yet to cash...worth about $8...is it worth the drive, the payment to park...the...well, you know...

Seems that trump himself, got called 'Piggy Piggy Piggy' back in the 80's...by NYC Mayor Ed Koch...wow, if he could just see him now...and my oh my, does he ever stand in the Gold House?...he is always squatting behind a table...er, underneath it...well, whatever...

Reactionary, is the word I use for most of his 'presidential moves'...after the attack on 2 NG's in DC...he ordered another 500 there...and get this, he is freezing anyone who wants to come in to the country from...well, you know...wonder what hole he was on, when he proclaimed that?...and later on in the round, he told Venezuela to prepare for a battle...fore!...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
